My name is Ben! I am Brisbane born and bred and I love nothing more than a great chat and a good coffee. When I am not drinking coffee, you can find me out in the community helping people. I started in the disability sector straight out of senior high school. Fast forward 20 years and there is nowhere else I would rather be! You see, what I discovered on my journey is how much I enjoyed seeing people living fulfilling lives. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to start my own organisation doing just that!
Hi, I am Shirley. I have worked in disabilities for the last 8 years. I got involved with the industry because of my innate passion to help people and make a difference in others lives. I was a registered nurse for many years which gave me the life experience I use now as a Coordinator. I am a very compassionate and empathetic soul with a huge heart, who just wants to help everyone. In my spare time, when not with my grandchildren, I enjoy walking through the rain forests, visiting waterfalls and beach walks with friends. Beautiful environments like these earth me and keep my positive attitude toward life and work alive.
Hi, I am Michelle. Working in disabilities and rehabilitation is not just a job, it is my passion. I love seeing the people I support reach their potential and achieve their goals. Because their wins, are my wins too! When I am not helping people, I enjoy exploring outdoors with my three dogs; Bentley, Coco and Lacey.
Hey there, I am Tabatha! I’m in administration and I can help you with all of your invoicing and payment needs. I also help out with marketing, advertising and updating our website page. I work one – two days a week, so if you email me just hang tight andI will get back to you as soon as I can. When I am not at work, you can usually find me enjoying a nice chai latte or chasing my three little ones.
“Years ago Ben took me under his wing. I’d already been through several carers who seemed not to have any interest with really getting to know me. Ben took a keen interest and gave me a brand new outlook on life and it’s because of his dedication and willingness to connect on a personal level which separates him from the rest! Still to this day, Ben and I have remained good friends.
Aged Disability Injury Rehabilitation Services Occupational Therapist observed my child at home and at school to give her a thorough assessment. She was very helpful and explained things in a way that I understood so that we could continue therapy at home as well.
